PetBuddy does not collect analytics, tracking data, advertising identifiers, or unique device identifiers. App data is stored locally on your device.

4. Permissions and Access

4.1 Photo Library Access

PetBuddy requests access to your photo library to allow you to select and upload photos of your pets for their profiles. We only access photos that you explicitly choose to add to the App. These photos are stored locally on your device.

4.2 Camera Access

PetBuddy requests access to your device's camera to allow you to take photos of your pets directly within the App. Photos taken are stored locally on your device and are only used within the App.

4.3 Notifications

PetBuddy requests permission to send you local notifications to remind you of important pet care tasks, such as feeding times, medication schedules, and appointments. You can control notification settings through your device's settings at any time.

4.4 Location Services (Optional)

PetBuddy may request access to your device's location only when you are using the App to center the map when you add new pet-friendly places. We only request "When In Use" location permission, which means location is accessed only while the App is open and in use. Location data is not stored permanently and is not accessed in the background. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings.

5. Data Storage and Security

All data you enter into PetBuddy, including pet profiles, photos, and reminders, is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit your personal information or pet data to external servers or third parties.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data stored locally on your device. However, please note that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your pet data, photos, or personal information with any external parties, except in the following limited circumstances:

• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Protection of Rights: We may disclose information to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or the public.

7. Children's Privacy

PetBuddy is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.

Your pet data and information are stored locally on your device and remain there until you choose to delete the App or manually delete the data. We do not retain your data on external servers.

• Delete: You can delete individual pet profiles, photos, or reminders, or delete all data by uninstalling the App.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. PetBuddy is designed for users worldwide. Since all data is stored locally on your device, data transfer and processing occur only on your device and are subject to your local jurisdiction's data protection laws.
